Freegal Music offers access to over 16 million songs, millions of albums, hundreds of curated playlists, the ability to create your own playlists, thousands of audiobooks, and thousands of music videos. Freegal offers three downloads per week and three hours of streaming per day. A video download counts as two of your weekly selections.

Just for Kids Collection
Just for Kids offers kid-safe, advertisement-free, educational videos for the Pre-K to elementary learner. Kids have access to videos, songs, interactive games and activities. With a focus on early literacy and early elementary students, content is available from Sesame Street, The Electric Company, Franklin, Arthur, Reading Rainbow and more.

Kanopy
Kanopy is an award-winning film streaming service that offers over 30,000 of the world’s best films, including documentaries, film festival favorites, indie and classic films, and world cinema. Library cardholders have 10 credits per month with a 72 hour loan period.

Magzter Digital Library Edition
Magzter provides over 4,000 digital magazines that can be accessed on mobile devices, tablets, and computers. Magazines are available in English, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Arabic. Access through a browser, or Android and iOS users can download the Magzter Library app (not the standard Magzter app). In either case, choose "Continue with library card." Next enter an email address, receive an OTP code, and then select "York County Public Library" and enter your library card number.

The library’s OverDrive collection offers thousands of eBooks and audiobooks that can be downloaded to your computer, tablet, or mobile device. You can check out up to 8 ebooks or audiobooks with a 14-day loan period. Up to 10 items can be placed on hold.

OverDrive for Kids
Our eReading room for kids offers young readers a place of their own. The collection includes picture books, youth fiction and youth nonfiction. (No adult content will appear in the search results.) Kids can browse, sample, place holds, and borrow eBooks and audiobooks appropriate for their age range and reading level.

TumbleBookLibrary
TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of quality eBooks for kids in grades K-6. It includes story books, read alongs, chapter books, non-fiction titles, books in Spanish, graphic novels, math stories, and National Geographic videos.

Yearbook Digitization Project
Through the Library of Virginia’s Yearbook Digitization Project, you can browse yearbooks online from high schools across Virginia. The collection currently includes 1,647 yearbooks from 1912 to 1977, selected as the stopping point for copyright purposes. The York County Public Library has included Tabb and York High School yearbooks from 1958-1977.
