Spring Registration - WAITLIST ONLY
Registration is from January 22 to February 23, 2018. Instructional registration is limited to 120 children and may end before February 23 if the limit is reached. You may register in person at the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Office. Office hours are 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or online. Registration forms will be sent home with each child from school or you may pick one up at the office.
Those who are in grades Kindergarten through 12th may participate. Participants who are currently in grades 9 to 12 and are in the process of trying out for a school soccer team, are encouraged to register. Refunds will be given to those participants who make the school team.
Residents -The fees are $55 for the first child; $50 for each additional child per family, York County Residents only.
Non-County Residents -Non-county residents are $90 for all non-county residents.
Fee Waived -Fees are waived for York County families falling within the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP - Federal Food Stamp) eligibility limits. Proof of eligibility along with proper ID are required for registration in person at the Parks, Recreation and Tourism office. This waiver is available for York County residents only.
No Special Requests
Teams are put together based on grade, gender, siblings, school, and experience. Since there are over 1,000 registered children, special requests cannot be accepted. Registrations received after the deadline will automatically be placed on a waiting list and assigned to teams on an as-needed basis.
Participants must provide their own shin guards and wear them to all practices and games. Shoes with molded soles are recommended but sneakers are acceptable. Shoes that have detachable, metal, or full sized toe cleats are prohibited. All jewelry is prohibited. Uniform t-shirts are provided for grades 1 to 12 and must be worn for all games. NO shorts/pants with zippers or pockets allowed at practices and games.
Instructional Class (Ages 3-5 & Grade K)
An Instructional program to develop motor skills on a one on one basis with an instructor as your child progresses into team play. Classes meet for one hour on Saturday for eight (8) consecutive weeks. There is a maximum of 30 kids per class. T-shirts are NOT provided. Participants must provide their own shin guards and wear them to all practices. Limited enrollment - register early!
All leagues are 'Coed' (boys and girls). First practice will be Saturday, March 10, 2018.
The coaches meetings will be on Wednesday, February 28 for grades 1-6 and Monday, March 5 for grades 7-12. Coaches and volunteers are always needed!
