Registration is from July 16 to August 3 (in office) August 5 (online). You may register in person at the Parks and Recreation Office. Office hours are 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or online. Registration forms will be available in the office. After the registration deadline, anyone interested may sign up for the waitlist online only and will be assigned to teams on an as-needed basis.
Those who are ages 3-18 may participate. Participants who are currently in grades 9 to 12 and are in the process of trying out for a school soccer team, are encouraged to register. Refunds will be given to those participants who make the school sport team. The season begins September 8 and ends October 27.
Residents -The fees are $55 for the first child; $50 for each additional child per family, York County Residents only.
Non-County Residents -Non-county residents are $90 for all non-county residents.
Fee Waived -Fees are waived for York County families falling within the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP - Federal Food Stamp) eligibility limits. Proof of eligibility along with proper ID are required for registration in person at the Parks and Recreation office. This waiver is available for York County residents only.
No Special Requests
Teams are put together based on grade, gender, siblings, and experience. Since there are over 1,000 registered children, SPECIAL REQUEST ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.
All participants must provide their own shin guards and wear them to all practices and games. Shoes with molded soles are recommended but sneakers are acceptable. Shoes that have detachable, metal, or full sized toe cleats are prohibited. All jewelry is prohibited. Jerseys are provided for ages 6U and above and must be worn for all games. NO shorts/pants with zippers or pockets allowed at practices and games.
Start Smart (Instructional Class)
This coed program is for children ages 3-5. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children in learning the fundamentals of soccer. Classes meet for one hour on Saturday for eight (8) consecutive weeks beginning Saturday, September 8. There is a maximum of 30 kids per class (2 classes, 2 sites). Jerseys are NOT provided. Participants must provide their own shin guards and wear them to all practices.
The coaches meetings will be on Wednesday, August 22 for 6U - 12U and Thursday, August 23 for 15U & 18U. Coaches and volunteers are always needed!
