Each session of Safety Town lasts one week. On Monday through Thursday, the kids take part in lessons focused on the daily safety themes of Traffic and Pedestrian Safety, Fire, Home, and Personal Safety. Each day the kids learn important life-saving information through fun and engaging activities. On Fridays during the week of Safety Town, we enjoy a recognition ceremony, safety demonstrations, and an exciting Safety Fair. Many of our County community helpers and business partners join us for our Friday adventures.
We created this virtual resource for our children and families. It includes materials and resources for parents, videos that can be watched with the children, and printable materials on the topics we teach our little ones. We also have many hands-on activities for kids to learn from and enjoy. We hope you find this virtual tool informative and useful. Most of all, we hope you all stay safe and well!
