Purpose: The objective of the Youth
Commission is to act as a voice for York County youth in serving as
a link between the youth and County government.
Bylaws:
The Youth Commission was established by the Board of Supervisors in 1983
and is governed by a set of bylaws.
Members: The Youth
Commission is made up of fifteen high school students, three from each
election district. Members must be students in grades 9 through 12
and residents of York County.
Meetings: The
commission meets during the school year on the first Thursday of the
month at 6:30 p.m. in the first floor meeting room of the
Public Safety Building, located at 301 Goodwin Neck Road.
