GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH

The sturdy marl walls of the present church have been standing since 1697 and have withstood the ravages of two wars (1781 and 1862) as well as the great fire of 1814. It continues to serve a large and active congregation. Open 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For Sunday Service schedule call (757) 898-3261.

Six generations of Nelsons including Thomas Nelson, Jr., a signer of the Declaration of Independence, are buried in the Grace Episcopal graveyard.
