Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2008, the annual exchange of students honors a cultural connection forged when Zweibrücken citizens participated as allies to the Continental Army in the decisive Siege of Yorktown.

The students listed below applied for the program and were selected after an interview process. They have been paired up with students from Zweibrücken, who visit Virginia for three weeks this spring. Field trips planned for them include visits to Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg, and area museums. The host families also will show the German students and their chaperone the sights of the area.
