The Beautiful York
County Calendar and Calendar Art Contest is coordinated by the York
County Beautification Committee and funded through support from the
York
County Board of Supervisors, the
York County Department of Environmental &
Development Services, Waste Management Division, and the York County
Beautification Committee. Artwork for the 2008 calendar was solicited
from all York County public, private and home-schooled children grades K-12.
Artwork for the 2009 calendar is currently being solicited from all County
residents who are senior citizens (aged 55 and older).
This calendar is distributed county-wide
to all residential mail boxes. Residents
can expect to receive calendars the first two weeks of December. If you do
not receive a calendar in the mail, additional calendars are available
at both branches of the York County Library and the York County Cooperative
Extension office located off of Goodwin Neck Road. For additional information about the
