OFFENDER RELEASE NOTIFICATION

Individuals who have been physically injured by another person have the right to be notified when their perpetrators are released from incarceration.  Victim Notification Victim-Witness Assistance Programs may be able to assist you in registering with the local police department, sheriff’s office, or jail to receive notification if a prisoner escapes, changes his or her name, is transferred, is discharged, or is released from jail.
