Youth 4-H
Chrysanthemum Project


The 4-H Chrysanthemum Project combines the skills of growing plants with the knowledge of how to account for, market and sell a "product."

Youth ages 10 - 15 receive 20 chrysanthemums to grow throughout the summer. They will learn the proper care and propagation of the mum, how to keep accounts in order, and how to market and sell the product.
 

Registration is limited to 20 participants! First priority is given to York County residents until May 9.

Registration Deadline: May 16, 2008

Project begins:  May 28, 2008

Project completion:  August 13, 2008

Initial cost $20.00

Materials and handouts will be given out at class.  You do not need to belong to 4-H to participate in this Extension activity.
