The York County Master Gardeners, in cooperation with the Virginia Cooperative Extension, established the Learning Garden in 1994 as an educational garden designed to display ornamental plants that thrive on the Peninsula.  Each plant is marked with the botanical and common name to help you identify the plant and species.

The Learning Garden is made up of nine garden areas.  Click on the link below to see the plant list for each garden.

Made possible through the donation of plants and resources of many individuals, York County Master Gardeners plan, maintain and execute the design and care of these gardens.

Grant dollars received from National 4-H Council, Deft,Inc.
