Custom House
The historic, 1720s Custom House was
built by Richard Amber, the collector of customs for the crown. It is
believed to be the oldest Custom House in the country and is listed on the
National Register of Historic Places and owned by the Comte de Grasse
Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Museum and gift shop
open Sundays from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Special tours can be arranged. Garden
is also available for weddings and receptions.
