Adult Services
The adult services program serves disabled and elderly adults through programs
that:

Protect older and disabled adults from abuse,
neglect and/or exploitation.

Prevent the inappropriate institutionalization of
impaired adults.

Assist with appropriate out-of-home placements when
necessary.

Maximize an individual's self-sufficiency and
improve their level of functioning.
These services may include: community-based care
through the Medicaid program, adult day care, companion services, placement services, and
counseling as needed.
