Crime Line 2005

 

The York County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in solving the following crimes: 

 

Anyone having information about these crimes or any other crime is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.  Crime Line will pay a reward of up to $1000.00 in cash.  Callers are reminded that you do not have to give your name or testify in court.

 

  • On or about March 24, 2005 in the 100 block of Maurice Court unknown person[s] entered a vehicle and stole a PSE bow, a knife making kit and misc. monies totaling in approximately $800.
  • On or about March 23, 2005 unknown person[s] stole over two thousand dollars worth of clothing , CD’s  and Kings mill logo shirts from a vehicle parked at the Sleep Inn located at 220 Bypass Road.
  • On or about March 22, 2005 a white female went through the drive through at the Hardees located in the 5400 block of Rt 17.  The female placed her order and paid with rolled coins.  The offender then asked to change out additional rolled coins.  The offender was driving a white jeep type of vehicle.  After the offender left the coin rolls proved to be filled with pennies.  The offender defrauded the store for $185.
  • On or about March 16th to 17th, unknown individuals stole a PRAMAC electric generator; from the garage of a residence in the 900 block of Dandy Loop Road.  The generator was equipped with a Briggs and Stratton engine.  The value of the generator was approximately $2,500.
  • On or about March 11th, unknown individuals entered a residence located in the 400 block of Wolftrap Road.  The individuals stole several items from the residence; to include, a red and black Wave Master XL punching bag, a Sony HI-8 video camcorder, and a Toshiba laptop computer.  The stolen items had a collective value in excess of $2,300.
  • On March 11, 2005 unknown person[s] stole a $450 tailgate silver in color off of a 2000 Chevy pick up.  The theft took place in the 400 block of Old York Hampton Hwy
  • Between 1600 and 1945 hours on 02/20/05, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully removed a Craftsman brand 2000 PSI power washer, value $400. 00, from a garage in the 1800 block of  Meadowview Dr.

  • March 4, 2005 in the 2400 block of Rt 17 two aluminum storm windows and a heat pump valued at $1600 were stolen.
  • On or about March 1st, unknown individuals forcibly entered a residence in the 1700 block of Eleventh Street at Bethel Manor.  The individuals stole a large quantity of items; to include, several DVD's, several bottles of liquor, two (2) Game Boy Advances and multiple Game Boy games, a Playstation II console and multiple Playstation games, as well as several computer software titles.  The stolen items had a collective value in excess of $3,000.
  • On or about February 26th, unknown individuals entered a garage and residence located in the 500 block of Mary Bier Bauer Way.  The individuals stole a large quantity of items; to include, an Audiovox DVD player, several DVD's, a Hitachi HI-8 video camcorder, a Game Boy Advance SP and Game Boy Advance with multiple associated games, a Sony Playstation II and multiple Playstation games, a Canon Power Shot digital camera, a leather Coach purse, as well as a Nokia cellular telephone.  The stolen items had a collective value in excess of $4,100.
  • On or about February 25th or 26th, unknown individuals entered the garage of a residence located in the 100 block of Kraft Drive.  The individuals stole a Sony CD player with a detachable face, a pair of Oakley sunglasses, and several cases of beer.  The stolen items had a collective value in excess of approximately $340.
  • On February 19, 2005 unknown person[s] stole over $1500 worth of wicker Dutch Lap Siding, J-Channels, V-Channels and other wicker trim from the Pungo Turn area of Running man.

  • March 2, 2005 in the 200 block of Arabian Circle approximately $2000 worth of tools were stolen.  A black and decker tool kit inside a black bag with a drill saw and sander, a Hitachi nail gun, a dewalt nail gun two cinco trim nail guns a disposable camera and two black and decker drill bit kits were all stolen.
  • March 2, 2005 in the 12000 block of Rt. 17 a 25 horse powered outboard motor valued at $2700.00 was stolen.
  • On 02/22/05 between 0130 and 0800 hours, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the  300 block of Mary Bierbauer Way, through an open garage door. A Gateway 450 Laptop Computer and an opened twelve (12) pack of Corona Beer, were stolen from the residence.

  • Between 2-19 and 2-21-2005 unknown person[s] stole $1500 worth of vinyl siding from the 400 block of Kanawah in York County.
  • Between February 17 and March 3, 2005 in the 4700 block of rt. 17 a 27" JVC television, a Craftsman socket set and a Honda pressure washer were stolen.  Total value approximately $2000
  • On February 9, 2005 unknown person[s] stole $100 cash, a 35 mm Minolta camera valued at $300 and miscellaneous papers from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Cybernetics Way.
  • On February 8, 2005 unknown person[s] stole a Coleman generator valued at $1000 from the 1800 block of Meadow Field Drive.  The generator was very distinctive looking it Coleman generator 10 hp Briggs and Stratton generac generator 5500 watts continuous, bought from Sears after Christmas ice storm a few years ago.  Has handle welded to frame and axle attached to frame with two small inflatable tires bought from Northern Store it had a gas line with a boat gas fitting on it attached to original gas line this was to use for auxiliary gas tank.
