Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) manages municipal
wastewater treatment in Hampton Roads and bills customers every two months, based on water

York County utility charges include sewer maintenance charges, trash
collection fees, water fees for customers who receive their water from York
County, and connection fee payments for new water and sewer services.

UTILITY OPERATIONS &
ENGINEERING provides the operation, maintenance, engineering and administration
of water pumping, storage and distribution facilities and provides the operation,
maintenance and engineering support for the design, plan review, construction and
inspection of the County's wastewater collection system. A division of the
