MANUFACTURED HOMES. Manufactured (mobile) homes are allowed only in manufactured home
subdivisions or parks and are taxed as personal property
using the real estate rate and ratio. All mobile
homes must be filed on a Personal Property Tax Return on or before March 1
annually with the Commissioner of the Revenue to avoid a filing penalty.

Meals-On-Wheels is a volunteer program supported in part by York County, to
provide low cost, hot meals to sick, elderly or otherwise homebound.

Retardation Board is a regional agency that offers programs to deal with family problems,
mental retardation, substance abuse and other counseling for residents of York, James City

MOSQUITOES.
Integrated mosquito control involves three phases to
reduce the public health threat and mosquito annoyance. The program's
cornerstone is a combination of surveillance, source reduction in the
maintenance of of-road County drainage easements to prevent stagnant water
