Industrial). The requested proffer amendment would remove car
and truck rental establishments from the list of prohibited
uses. The Comprehensive Plan designates this area as Medium
Density Residential (maximum density of 1.75 dwelling units per
acre) and General Business.

No. 24-133 and a portion of Assessor’s Parcel No. 24-128. The
property is zoned GB (General Business) and IL (Limited
Industrial). Rental cars would be stored on an existing concrete
pad to the rear of the property that is zoned IL (Limited
Industrial), while the car rental office would be located in an
existing commercial building on a separate portion of Assessor’s
Parcel No. 24-128 that is zoned GB (General Business). The
Comprehensive Plan designates this area Medium Density
Residential and General Business.

Request for authorization, pursuant to Section 24.1-327(b)(4) of
the York County Zoning Ordinance, to convert the second floor of
an existing detached garage to an accessory apartment on a
0.25-acre parcel in Yorktown located at 108 Church Street (Route
1003) and further identified as Assessor’s Parcel No. 18A-1-28A.
The property, located approximately 440 feet east of the
intersection of Church Street and Main Street (Route 1001), is
zoned YVA (Yorktown Village Activity) and is designated Yorktown
in the Comprehensive Plan. Recommended
