Application No. UP-712-06, Exotic Auto Works:  Request for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Section 24.1-306 [Category 12, No. 5(b)] of the York County Zoning Ordinance, to authorize the establishment of an auto or light truck sales and service facility with auto body work and painting on 1.09 acres of land located at 6219 George Washington Memorial Highway (Route 17), approximately 400 feet north its intersection with Grafton Drive (Route 621). The property, further identified as Assessor's Parcel No. 24-157, is zoned GB (General Business) and is designated for General Business development in the Comprehensive Plan Recommended denial.

Application No. PD-19-06, McCale Development Corporation: Request to amend certain approval conditions and proffers for the proposed 151-unit South Park residential community which was approved in 1993 to be located on the south side of Denbigh Boulevard (Route 173) adjacent to the Newport News city boundary.  The approval conditions are set out in Ordinance No. O92-37(R) and the proposed changes in those conditions and the proffers would require the project to be developed as an age-restricted senior housing community (as defined by the York County Zoning Ordinance), would prohibit residency by anyone under the age of nineteen (19), and would provide for a cash proffer by the developer for road improvements.  The subject area is designated for High Density Residential development (3 dwelling units per acre) in the Comprehensive Plan Recommended approval
