Back Creek Park
This 27-acre U.S.T.A.
award-winning tennis facility offers a free boat launching facility, a picnic
area, restrooms, and six lighted tennis courts. Fees are charged for tennis
play. Back Creek Park facilities will open March 24, 2008 and are scheduled to
close November 7, 2008. Anyone interested in being added to the mailing list,
or playing tennis at the park during the non-staffed hours, should call Parks
and Recreation at 757.890.3500.

Park
Hours of Staffed Operation
The
Park's days and hours of operation are subject to change due to weather
conditions or lack of player demand. On days when the Park is not staffed, the
courts will be available for free play. Combinations for the locks can be
obtained by calling Parks and Recreation or the Back Creek Park office. In
observance of the following holidays the Park will be not be staffed on:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veteran's Day.

Court Rental Fee before
5:00 p.m. is $2.00 per hour and after 5:00 p.m. is $4.00 per hour. Courts may be
reserved one week in advance. Players may use the backboard free of charge if
court #3 is not reserved.
