Basketball Program
Coaches are volunteers and

ELIGIBILITY:
All York County residents. Children must be in grades
2
- 12 to participate.
REGISTRATION:
Monday, October 22 through
Friday; November 2 at 5:00 p.m. For your convenience we will accept
registrations at the Tabb Library on Tuesday,
October 30 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Instructional class registration may end before November 2
if the 120 limit is
reached.
FEE:
$30 for the first child; $25 for each additional child per family. Please make
check payable to York County Parks and Recreation. One check per family!
EQUIPMENT:
Non-skid shoes and
shorts/pants without zippers or pockets are required for all practices
and games. Jerseys will be used as uniforms and will be provided by Parks and
Recreation. Practices and games will be played at various county school
gymnasiums.
The leagues are divided
by grades:

Instructional Class (boys & girls) - 2nd

INSTRUCTIONAL CLASS:
This class will be offered to boys and girls in the
2nd
grade. The
class will meet every Tuesday for ten consecutive weeks. The last class will be
a game for the children to show off the skills they have learned during the
class. The classes are limited to the first 120 children that register.
Class will begin in January.
