Registration Information:
Registration is required for
all classes and programs. All programs are filled on a first-come, first-served
basis. Participants will be notified of program cancellations. In the event a
class is filled, a refund will be issued. Due to
the volume of registrations for youth team sports, carpool and/or coach requests
will not be considered.
"Register by"
deadline indicates the date by which minimum program registration must be met to
avoid program cancellation. If maximum registration has been reached prior to
the deadline, a waiting list will be formed.
To
Register by Mail:
Complete registration form by providing all requested information.
Attach
check or money order for correct amount. Indicate class name on memo line.
(Please, no cash by mail.) Checks or money orders should be made payable to
"Parks and Recreation." Mail registrations to: York County Parks and
Recreation, P. O. Box 532, Yorktown, VA 23690.
Refund Policy:
Refunds are made only when classes are filled, canceled, or when changes in day,
time, or location of the program would prohibit registrant's attendance. Request
for refunds must be submitted in writing. A $5.00
processing fee will apply. Refunds for programs with specific limits will
not be given after the program has begun. Refunds for youth sports
programs will not be issued after the first game has been played. No
refunds will be issued for Adult Sport Leagues, unless the league is cancelled
by Parks and Recreation.
Returned Check
Policy: York
County requires a $35 charge for all returned checks.
