Meeting Convened.
An Adjourned Meeting of the York County Board of Supervisors was called
to order at 7:02 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2003, in The Gallery, York
Hall, by Chairman James S. Burgett.
Attendance.
The following members of the Board of Supervisors were present: Walter
C. Zaremba, Sheila S. Noll, Donald E. Wiggins, James S. Burgett, and
Thomas G. Shepperd.
Also in attendance was James
O. McReynolds, County Administrator.
JOINT MEETING WITH CHAIRPERSONS
OF YORK COUNTY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
A reception meeting was
held, and the Board members discussed suggestions and concerns of the
following Chairpersons and/or representatives regarding the operation of
their respective boards or committees:
Jim Funk Peninsula Agency on
Aging
Lillian Smith Historical Committee
Adam Frisch Wetlands Board
Sheila Myers Arts Commission
Winifred Bragg Senior Center Board
Richard Wallsom Beautification Committee
Dick Ambrose Regional Issues Committee
Lee Hirsh Social Services Board
Ann White Colonial Group Home Commission
Mike Bossie Stormwater Advisory Committee
Meeting Adjourned.
At 8:22 p.m. Chairman Burgett declared that the meeting be
adjourned to 12:00 noon, Thursday, March 27, 2003, in the Williamsburg
Community Room, Williamsburg, for the purpose of meeting with the
Regional Issues Committee and members of other jurisdictions’ governing
bodies to discuss corridor enhancements.
