Adjourned Meeting
February 4, 2000
6:00 p.m.
Meeting Convened. An Adjourned Meeting of the York County Board of
Supervisors was called to order at 6:30 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2000,
in the Virginia Power Clubhouse, Waterview Road, by Vice Chairman James
S. Burgett.
Attendance. The following members of the Board of Supervisors were
present: Sheila S. Noll, Donald E. Wiggins, James S. Burgett, and
Melanie L. Rapp.
Also in attendance was Daniel M. Stuck, County Administrator.
BOARD RETREAT
During the first session of the Board's Retreat, each Board member
reviewed a little of their personal history, stating why they had wanted
to serve the County as a member of the Board of Supervisors. Mr. James
Oliver, the facilitator for the retreat sessions, reviewed with the
Board members an outline of the next day's activities and shared some of
his views on the roll of the Board and its leadership.
Mr. Zaremba arrived at 6:50 p.m.
Mr. Wiggins left the meeting at 7:30 p.m.
During the discussions, Mr. Oliver asked the Board members to
write a letter to the other Board members indicating what each of them
felt was important for the Board to accomplish for the County during
their term.
Meeting Adjourned. At 10:35 p.m. Chairman Zaremba declared the
meeting adjourned to 8:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2000, in the
Virginia Power Clubhouse, Waterview Road.
