Get
clued in this summer at your Library. The mystery is who will win the weekly and
grand prizes in our 2009 Adult Summer Reading Program, It's a Mystery to
Me! The program is open to
Library card holders, ages 18 and up, with less than $5 in fines
and fees on their account. It's a Mystery to Me! runs from June 29
through August 9. Patrons can
sign-up from their home computer or a computer at
the library.
Participants may read any book or listen to any book on CD/Tape from the Adult Fiction or
Nonfiction Collection of the York County Public Library. Patrons may also listen
to any eAudiobook from the Library's NetLibrary Adult eAudiobook Collection. When you complete
a book, enter your username and password to access your
evidence log. Choose "Add/View Log"
to enter the author, title, short book review, genre, collection and a rating for the book. To be included in the weekly and grand prize drawings, you must choose to
make your book review "public." Reviews that do not meet the program
requirements or contain offensive language are not eligible for the prize
drawings.
Prize drawings will be held each Monday afternoon from the
prior week's (Monday thru Sunday) reviews. Winners will be contacted by phone or
email. The winning names will also be posted on the Library's Web site after 5
p.m. each Monday. All prizes must be claimed by August 31, 2009.
