eAudiobooks are available at the York County
Public Library through
NetLibrary. Library patrons now have anytime, anywhere access to over
200 eAudiobook titles. Titles can be accessed through the library's "Online
Databases" webpage. New users will need to stop by the library and
create a NetLibrary account before they can access eAudiobooks from
their home computer. If you have previously set up a NetLibrary eBook
account, your username and password can also be used to access eAudiobooks.
eAudiobooks can be played on any desktop PC or laptop that supports Windows
Media Player version 9 and above. Patrons can
also transfer titles to a
wide range of portable devices that support playback of protected wma files.

eAudiobooks and Going Portable with eAudiobooks, are available at the
library. These guides are also available online via the "Help" link
located in the upper right corner on the NetLibrary website,
netlibrary.com. NetLibrary offers an excellent
self-guided
demonstration too. Patrons
must sign-in to their NetLibrary account to access "Help" topics.
Over 16,000 NetLibrary eBooks are also available to
Library patrons. An additional 3,400 eBooks are available in the
NetLibrary Publicly-Accessible eBook collection.
If you have already established a NetLibrary
account, visit
netlibrary.com and log in. If you do not have a NetLibrary account,
you can create an account from any public computer at the Tabb or Yorktown

eBook will be available to York County Public Library patrons through May 31,
2008.
