Built in 1935 by the National Park Service
after a tropical storm destroyed much of the waterfront, the building was
used as a terminal for Baltimore steamships until 1952, when it was
remodeled as a post office. The current facility which was extensively
renovated in 2005, is approximately
1950 SF with a large brick plaza on the riverside of the building and
the building is available to rent for receptions and
other meetings and functions.
