The third fire station built in York County, the Bruton Fire Station was built by the county and dedicated in December of 1979. |

Serving as the District Fire Station for the northwestern portion of York County - Fire Station Three/Bruton, responds "first due" into the Bruton District of the county.
Generally all portions of the county from Naval Weapons Station Skiffs Creek Area north and west to Camp Peary. This station also provides primary back up response to the areas covered by the Skimino Fire Station and areas of
James City County as well as Williamsburg. The response area also includes most of the county large hotels/motels, the Water County USA Theme Park and approximately 9 miles of the interstate 64. |
