York County's
Community Emergency Response Teams is a program to train individuals in basic
first aid, light search and rescue, fire prevention, and disaster preparedness.
The course is designed to establish a core of trained volunteers in the neighborhoods that can meet the needs of their families and then their neighbors during an emergency or disaster.
If you want information on when the next CERT course will be offered or have any questions concerning the
CERT program, please call the Department of Fire and Life Safety (890-3600)
To register for the CERT course, please fill out the registration form and the Memorandum of Understanding.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to
access the forms. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader then
click here. Once you open a form, you can
complete it online, print, sign, and send the form to the
address on the registration form. Because the Memorandum requires a written signature, you will have to mail both forms back to the address on the registration form or bring them to the Department of Fire and Life Safety
Administration Office at 301 Goodwin Neck Road.
Thank you.
