PAYROLL
The payroll division of Fiscal
Accounting Services is responsible for issuing bi-weekly and monthly paychecks
for 950 to 1,000 employees each month. This includes all county full-time
employees, part-time and employees of the Department of Social Services, and Colonial
Services Board. We are also responsible for preparing and submitting
monthly and bi-weekly employee reports for VRS retirement and life insurance,
ICMA retirement, flexible spending accounts, health insurance, child support
payments, garnishments, numerous other employee related payroll deductions, and
annual W2 statements for both the County and the York County schools.
Our mission is:
to ensure that all York County employees receive accurate paychecks on the
scheduled pay date; to provide excellent customer service by responding to
employees' requests and inquiries and departments' needs in a timely manner; and
to uphold the highest level of confidentiality.
