The Division of Fiscal Accounting Services (FAS)
provides services that enable County departments to perform their objectives,
report the results of their operations and plan for future years. The
services are provided through the Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Utility Billing
sections, and the general ledger functions of the County.
FAS is also responsible for:

maintaining insurance schedules for all County real
estate, vehicles and other personal property, and placing any necessary claims;

accounting for the workers' compensation activity
for the County;

accounts receivable billing for transportation
charges, scales usage, grass cutting and demolition, and other miscellaneous
County services and charges;

grant coordination, management, and reporting;
-
providing the mail service for the County.
