Welcome to York
County Government Employment
The
Human Resources Office has transitioned from paper applications to
online-only applications. All opportunities will now require an online
application. To view current job opportunities, create an online
application, view a job description, check the status of your application or
to be notified by e-mail when a particular job vacancy becomes available,
please refer to the links in the left hand column.
You may create and save an application and apply for current job
opportunities from any computer with internet access. The Human
Resources Office has one computer available for use in completing the online
application. Public computers are also available at the
York County
Libraries.
To
access the online application, you must first create a user account and have
a valid e-mail address. If you do not have an e-mail account, free
e-mail is available through providers such as
Yahoo,
Gmail, or
Hotmail. Be prepared to spend 30
minutes or more completing the application, but you may save and return to
the it later. Be sure to include all education and work
experience, answer all questions at the end of the application and, if
applicable, any supplemental questions. Review your application
carefully before submitting as your application is the primary tool used to
evaluate your job qualifications. Applications may be rejected if
incomplete.
