Sally Brooks, is the Extension 4-H Agent for York County, the City of Poquoson, and James City County and serves as the Unit Coordinator for the York/Poquoson VCE office. In her role as Unit Coordinator, she oversees the office’s financial accounts and budgets, program directives, and office procedures and supervises office staff.
In her role as Extension 4-H Agent, her responsibilities include developing and delivering research-based youth programs focused on leadership, citizenship, healthy living, environmental education, and science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). She is also responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to help deliver 4-H programs.
Sally holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of Idaho, and a Master of Science degree in Marine Science from the College of William and Mary, Virginia Institute of Marine Science. She has worked in community-based youth education programs since 2009 and served as a 4-H Agent since 2011. She has been with the York/Poquoson Extension office since 2014.
