Sometimes trials cannot take place as scheduled.  We will make every effort to notify you in advance, but may not be successful.  To help us reach you, please call the Victim-Witness Assistance Program and leave a daytime phone number where you can be reached. 

In addition, the Victim-Witness Program maintains a docket recording that lists the cases which have been continued.  By calling that number the evening before the court hearing, you can confirm whether you have to appear.  In York County or Poquoson, the number for the Victim-Witness Assistance Program is (757) 890-3402.
