Welcome to the
Division of Juvenile Services
The York County Division
of Juvenile Services consists of several programs whose common goal is
to provide community based alternatives for youth referred by the Ninth
District Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. These programs are
regionally funded by the Colonial Group Home Commission whose member
jurisdictions include the City of Williamsburg and the Counties of York,
Gloucester, and James City. Under an agreement among these localities,
signed in 1989, York County is the managing jurisdiction for these
programs.
