Since 1982, with the authorization of the County Administrator, contracts are taken to effect emergency, limited cost, repairs for qualifying families.  Wherever possible these funds are utilized as a match for state and/or federal grant programs. This program serves to eliminate safety or health hazards, thereby permitting numerous eligible citizens to remain in their household.
