Emergency Home Repair Program
This is a grant program
administered by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community
Development (DHCD). On October 20, 1988, the Board of Supervisors took
action to accept this program. The objective for this program is to
assist lower-income families in removing imminent health and safety
hazards from their households. A dollar for dollar match is required from other resources
for emergency repairs, with a $1,000 maximum.
