The industrial districts established by this
ordinance are designed to provide opportunities for a variety of industrial uses that will
serve to expand employment opportunities and contribute positively to county resources.
The districts are designed to provide for an orderly classification of various types of
industrial establishments based on operational characteristics, space needs,
transportation needs, compatibility with the natural and built environment, and similar
factors.
