Sec. 17-50.
Intoxicating beverages.
(a) Consumption of alcoholic beverages
prohibited. No person shall consume any alcoholic beverage while in a public area,
unless such beverage is served at a facility or event for which such consumption of
alcoholic beverages has been approved by the appropriate governing authority, and all
alcoholic beverage control laws have been complied with.
(b) Possession of alcoholic beverages
prohibited. No person shall possess an open or previously opened container containing
any alcoholic beverage while in a public area, unless such container has been served at a
facility or event for which such consumption of alcoholic beverages has been approved by
the appropriate governing authority, and all alcoholic beverage control laws have been
complied with. |
