ARTICLE II. FIRE DEPARTMENT
Sec. 11-23. Liability for expenses incurred in fighting fire.
Any person who negligently, carelessly or
intentionally, without using reasonable care and precaution to prevent its escape, starts
a fire which burns on forest land, brush land or wasteland, or burns property of any kind,
shall, in addition to any other penalty imposed under the provisions of this Code and
other ordinances of the county, be liable for the full amount of expenses incurred by the
county in fighting or extinguishing such fire. |
