Sec. 1-14.2  Same--processing fee upon admission to county or regional jail following a conviction.

A processing fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be assessed by the district courts
and circuit court of York County on any individual admitted to a county or regional jail
following conviction in such court. Such fee shall be ordered as a part of court costs
collected by the clerk of the court in which the conviction occurred and deposited into the
account of the county treasurer. The treasurer shall hold such funds in a separate account
subject to disbursement by the board of supervisors to the sheriff's office to defray the
costs of processing arrested persons into the local or regional jails.
