Why do we budget?
The budget is prepared as a tool to
allocate resources to programs and services that achieve the mission and
goals defined by the Board of Supervisors.
What
is the County budget process?
The County
prepares an annual operating budget and capital improvements
program. The mission during the budget process is to help the
Board of Supervisors and management make informed choices about the
provision of services and capital assets and to promote citizen
participation in the process.
