4-H LAWN MOWING PROJECT
This free class is designed for youth ages 10-15, interested in mowing lawns as a summer business or just to help out at home.
Safety is emphasized, as well as proper care of the lawn, cutting technique, lawn mower maintenance, and customer / employee interaction skills. The training includes a field trip to a lawn mower maintenance shop. Graduates are able to get their name on a list for referrals.
The series of classes is held in March from 6:30p-8:00p at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Grafton. Space is limited. Materials and handouts will be given at class.

The cost is $20, with classes running May 26, June 2, July 14, and August 11.
Registration and $20 (made out to the York County Ext. Hort. Programs) need to be received in the office before the first class on May 26.
