Emergency Communications/911 is responsible for the management of the County-wide Radio Communications system, operation of the Emergency Communications/911 Center including answering calls for assistance and dispatching for the Sheriff's Office, Department of Fire and Life Safety and the City of Poquoson Police and Fire Departments, as well as oversight of alarm systems for county buildings.
