 2012/2013  REASSESSMENT NEWS- COMING THIS WINTER IN CITIZEN NEWS

The York County Real Estate Assessment Office is preparing for the 2012/2013 county-wide reassessment due January 1, 2012. The appraisers will be visiting properties to verify data throughout the county. Homes will be measured and photographs will be taken. Requests for data will be left at your home if no one is available. With the large number of properties in the county, it is not possible for each property owner to be notified of the exact time an appraiser will be visiting your home, however if you would like to schedule an appointment so you may be present for the review, please call (757) 890-3720. 

Any property owner with a home that has an area(s) on the inside that is unfinished and/or is open to the floor above, are encouraged to check with the appraiser to make sure we are calculating the areas in your home accurately.  Items that are currently valued with their quantity and/or size are there for your review, for any discrepancies please contact the office.
