Waste Management Center Closed for Labor Day
The Waste Management Center will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 6, 2010. This closing includes the Recycling Center Drop-off, Transfer Station Operation, Citizens Garbage Drop-off area, and VPPSA’s Composting Facility. Normal operations for the center will resume Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
Curbside garbage collection will be canceled Monday, September 6, 2010 in observance of Labor Day.
All garbage collection for the week of September 6, 2010 will be running one day behind. Monday’s collection will take place on Tuesday. Tuesday’s collection will take place on Wednesday and so on. Collection for this week will end on Saturday September 11, 2010. This collection schedule is for garbage only.
Curbside recycling collection for the week of September 6, 2010, will remain on schedule as normal.
