Registration

Registration is required for all classes and programs. Participants will be notified of program cancellations. In the event a class is filled, a refund will be issued. Due to the volume of registrations for youth team sports, carpool and/or coach requests will not be considered.


Registration Deadline


"Register by" deadline indicates the date by which minimum program registration must be met to avoid program cancellation. If maximum registration has been reached prior to the deadline, a waiting list will be formed.

Register by Mail


Complete a registration form (PDF) by providing all requested information. Attach check or money order for correct amount. Indicate class name on memo line. (Please, no cash by mail.) Checks or money orders should be made payable to "Treasurer, County of York." Mail registrations to:

Register in Person


Complete a registration form (PDF) by providing all requested information. Bring cash, check, money order, or credit card to the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Office. Checks or money orders should be made payable to "Treasurer, County of York" Credit Cards Visa and Master Card are only accepted.

Register Online


If you have previously registered for a program through Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (PRT) and have forgotten your username and/or password visit our online registration site. Click Login at the top of the screen. Choose the appropriate link for what you forgot. If you have not registered for a program in the past, you will be able to create your own account by visiting create new account.
When using our on-line registration system, the registration is not final until you complete the check out process. If you choose to disconnect before receiving a verification message, your transaction will be automatically deleted. York County uses the latest online payment security. A $2.00 processing fee is automatically charge at the end of transaction.

Refund Policy


Refunds are made only when classes are filled, cancelled, or when changes in day, time, or location of the program would prohibit registrant's attendance. Request for refunds must be submitted in writing. A $5.00 processing fee will apply.

Refunds for programs with specific limits will not be given after the program has begun. Refunds for youth sports programs will not be issued after the second game has been played. No refunds will be issued for Adult Sport Leagues, unless the league is cancelled by Parks, Recreation and Tourism.

Returned Check Policy


York County requires a $35 charge for all returned checks.
