The Code of Virginia requires all cities and counties in the state to have a comprehensive plan for the physical development of the locality and to review it every five years to determine if it needs to be revised. A draft update of the Plan was certified by the Planning Commission on September 14^th and the Board of Supervisors held several work sessions and public hearings (listed below) in its review before adopting the updated plan, with revisions, on December 6th.  Please click on the links for more information.
