County offices to close July 4 in observance of Independence Day -

York County courts and offices will be closed Thursday, July 4.

2013 Yorktown 4th of July Celebration schedule -

The 34th annual Yorktown 4th of July celebration schedule has been released.

Arrive early for July 4th fireworks and evening activities -

The 34th annual Yorktown Fourth of July fireworks display promises to light up the night sky over the York River beginning at 9:15.

July 4 general parking and handicapped/special needs parking -

Public parking for the Yorktown Fourth of July Celebration will be on the Yorktown Battlefield at the intersection of Cook Road and Ballard Street.

Yorktown Beach Picnic Area to be closed to vehicular traffic July 4 -

The Beach Picnic Area located at the intersection of Water and Comte de Grasse Streets in Yorktown will be closed to vehicular traffic on July 4.

Historic Yorktown kicks off summer with events -

Historic Yorktown is the place to be this summer with events such as Shagging on the Riverwalk beach music concert series, Yorktown Market Days, sails on the York River, and more.

York County tax due date following new schedule -

Taxes will be due on or before June 25. Tax bills will be mailed the last week of May.

8th Annual Shagging on the Riverwalk concert lineup announced -

York County is excited to offer the 2013 Shagging on the Riverwalk Beach Music Concert Series.
